Kerstin Zell is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and has over 20 years of professional experience which she gained in Germany and the US, and across multiple industries, such as Logistics, Retail, Manufacturing, Energy and Consulting. This allowed her to develop a versatile skill set founded on business process, operational effectiveness, strategic planning, communication, and change leadership providing her the ability to tie together planning, people, process, technology and risk in a unique way. A large part of her career was spent at a Fortune 40 retailer and throughout her career Kerstin has worked with and consulted on executives in multiple industries and companies.
Kerstin has led post-merger and high exposure, multi-million-dollar, cross-functional change and transformational efforts and has established reporting structure, risk management methodology, governance and holistic communication strategies.
She has a robust background in heading up technology implementations and improvement efforts – from refining Supply Chain software, evangelizing the internal social business platform rolled out to >300k employees, owning departmental platforms, to spearheading a >13mil $ GRC implementation.
In her latest role of Director of Risk and Operations for Lynx Technology Partners she leads strategic planning efforts and is developing Lynx’s Information Security Competency Program. This means Kerstin oversees and manages delivery and implementation of Competency services and products to global clients, working directly with, and advising, CISOs and executive leadership teams. She is Lynx’s Subject Matter Expert on the NICE Framework, translating the framework into user-friendly structure and creating customized content within the competency tool based on client’s needs. Amongst her clients are one of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of beauty products as well as an international financial services company. Kerstin also leads documentation and coordination of multi-million-dollar proposals for strategic cyber programs.
Kerstin is a proud Founding Board Member for the nonprofit EmpoWE-R Women of InfoSec and also serves as the President of the Columbus, OH Chapter of the International Consortium of Minority Cyber Professionals (ICMCP), a 501(c)3 non-profit association dedicated to the academic and professional success of minority cybersecurity students and professionals.
